4 classes starting March 9 and ending on March 30, every Thursday 7:30pm-8:30pm.
Each class would be an hour long & include a discussion / learning about meditation & the opportunity to sit together and meditate.
The class structure would be as follows:
Philosophy/Bio Mechanics of Meditation
• We will start at the beginning, creating a foundation for a meditation practice. We will dive not only into the techniques of the practice but how it influences the nervous system, the brain, hormones, and how it can be applied to other areas of life.
Practical Tips
• We will explore how to set up a meditation practice, how to sit, common distractions, as well as create space to share personal experiences of meditation.
Meditation Practice
• This will be the formal sit period of the mediation, where practitioners can integrate and explore these teachings for themselves.
